Hero Battle Arena (S2021 Team 15)

Immerse yourself in medieval times to wade off waves of enemies trying to attack your village. Play as the hero knight to take the reigns of battle or sit back and upgrade your village to defend for themselves.

To begin the battle the player starts out in their village with a single knight with the ability to upgrade the armory to obtain more troops. The player is able to control everything that goes on in their village. However, enemies are trying to invade your village. You can upgrade your defenses, purchase new soldiers, etc. The first person fighting allows the player to obtain more upgrade points and kill enemies faster.

You cannot let the enemies reach the end of your village or when the lives run out it is game over. Good Luck Soldier!

Controls

- Q: swing sword

- S: move the camera/player backward

- W: move the camera/player forward

- D: move the camera/player to the right

- A: move the camera/player to the left

- Key 1, 2: switch the camera’s point of view

- Mouse: Rotate the camera in first person view

- Esc: Pause the game

How to Upgrade Buildings

To upgrade your defenses, the player must zoom into the desired building by using the mouse pad zoom feature which will then allow the upgrade bar to pop up after you click the torn down building

Game rules:

- You have 350 resources and 5 health at the beginning. You will lose the game when health is 0. When the monster reaches the end of the map, you will lose health.

- The enemies will spawn and try to approach the end of the map. Click at the destroyed buildings and use your resources to build houses that spawning soldiers or build archer towers to shoot at the monsters.

- Kill the last enemy of each round in first person mode to obtain more bonus points

- When you kill monsters, you will gain resources to build more towers and buildings to fight against the next waves of monsters.

- The monsters will get stronger in later waves, so be prepared and manage your resources effectively.

- When you kill the final boss, you win the game.
